100 years of women's movements
Elminaco book fans will be calling each other up to discuss the publisher’s latest 2018 project (now in development) and inspired by interlocking centenary themes: 100-years since the 1918 General Election, the first in which British women earned the right to cast their vote - a cause for both commemoration and reflection on the timely parallels between international women’s movements past and present.
And '100 Things You Should Know About WIZO'… a comprehensive and genuinely powerful example of the truly compelling early history of women’s movement. The never-before printed in book format, '100 Things You Should Know About WIZO' is going to be published this year in honour of the founding members of WIZO, led by Rebecca Sieff, Vera Weizmann and Romana Goodman.
